Brittany Haines, Principal

After honing her skills with some of San Francisco's top interior design firms, Brittany launched ABD in 2013.

A second-generation interior designer, Brittany grew up in and around the timeless spaces created by her father. When a fire in 2001 destroyed the family home, she experienced firsthand how the concept of home and our personal collections enrich our lives. She observed as her parents renovated their next home and knew that one day she would pursue interior design.

With a passion for helping others find their own authentic style, Brittany works with clients to create casually elegant, yet livable spaces, dotted with personal treasures. Brittany is grateful that her passion and profession are deeply intertwined, and enjoys enhancing life's moments through design.

Chelsi Liddell, Design Director

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Chelsi studied at Ryerson University's School of Interior Design. Upon finishing her schooling, she moved to London where she worked for four years as a color consultant for Farrow & Ball. In 2011, love brought Chelsi to San Francisco, where she has had the opportunity to work for some of San Francisco's top interior design firms.

Chelsi believes that the most important aspect of design is to constantly edit and never over-design. She feels fortunate to be able to create spaces for people that serve as a framework for cherished memories.

Kristin Namimoto, Designer

Kristin started her career in entertainment public relations and then transitioned to focus on restaurant and wine. The latter fostered her interests in artisanship and sense of place. Along the way, she lived in Japan and traveled extensively in Asia. During her time there, she fell in love with Japanese design and craftsmanship.

When Kristin moved back to the States, she landed in San Francisco. In 2011, Kristin went back to school to study interior design. She was a Branding Manager and Designer at some of San Francisco's top high-end residential firms before arriving at ABD in the fall of 2014.

Haley grew up outside of Woodstock, NY and moved across the country to study in Portland, OR where she cultivated her penchant for art, culture, and design. Having lived, studied and worked all over the world, from South America to Southeast Asia, her travels have informed her belief in quality over quantity and supporting artisans worldwide.

With an interest in entrepreneurship and curating spaces, Haley worked as a manager and buyer for an upscale boutique in Oakland, CA for three years. Haley brings her retail background, discerning eye for beauty & design and exceptional organizational skills to ABD, where she continues to grow and be inspired by their design philosophy.
